Plenty of companies claim to be changing the way we live but few really do. There’s an app for this and an app for that but with a respectful shout out to a select few, we don’t think that’s innovating, we don’t think that’s ground-breaking and we don’t think that changes life as we know it.
We want you to think bigger than that, we want you to imagine the future and then help develop it so if you want to genuinely change the way we live, work and play then we want to hear from you. Check back as we will be posting specific careeer opportunities on this page in the future. In the meantime, you can send resumes and inquiries to

Our mission is simple: Build the Leading Personal Robot for the 21st Century |
| Many of us have dreamed of owning Serge from "Caprica", R2D or C3PO from "Star Wars", or even Rosey from the 60's cartoon "The Jetsons" as our own Peronsal Robots. For those who can remember, Rosey was The Jetson family's effervescent robot maid and, although she was considered out-dated, she was truly a priceless member of the family. Developing Personal Robots that can meet the high standards exhibited by the iconic robots of our dreams is not a one step process but we believe that, as technology costs become more accessible, we’ll one day create robot companions like these. To us the power of robots is greater than the sum of their applications. It's not just their ability to perform a simple task or their consistency and reliability in prescribed actions. Rather, it’s the way they can appear to interact, learn and understand that can help us truly connect with them. We call it Personal Robotics and we’re developing the technological building blocks (locomotion, human-robot interaction and applications) to eventually make them a reality. |
Our vision is bold: Put a Personal Robot in Every Home
|
| We started that process in 2005 as a spin off from The Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and since then we’ve sold almost 500,000 toy robots built on technology derived from those labs. In 2011 we built our proprietary Robot Cloud Services, designed to take on heavy computational processing and deliver new content to the robot. Based on number of units sold we are leading provider of cloud-connected robotics products. It is our experience manufacturing toys that will enable us to deliver on the promise of companion robots with the personality of Rosey Jetson and a price point that is comparable to today’s new technology. |
